Kate Dabbs

My mom used to tell me I see the world a little bit differently from most people and describing what I see has become my calling. I fought with the identity of being a writer for years before I finally decided my creative passions were stronger than my drive towards the C-Suite. What I ultimately realized is the ability to blend strategy with language arts is where I really hit my stride.

I attended Furman University and began my career in the nonprofit sector in Greenville. After a few years, I returned to my alma mater where I first worked with Lindsay and we hatched more than one entrepreneurial idea together (this time, I was determined not to miss my chance). Prior to joining TealHaus, I received my master’s degree from Clemson University and spent the past six years leading marketing and communications strategy for the second largest real estate firm in the Upstate. I remain a driven community leader, serving on the board of the Community Foundation of Greenville as a key outlet for my civic involvement. My passion is outside, or ‘side’ as my two-year-old son calls it. Anything involving nature and being active keeps me joyful and centered.

As the President for TealHaus, I bring meaning to our clients’ stories and connect messaging with mission. In addition, I lead the day-to-day of the company and manage our team. Ultimately, my greatest goal is to create the best experience for our clients and write stories that capture each company’s essence.
